Both midland and cobra in a similar price range are going to be very comparable. I know iceman has that style cb and it seems to work just fine. Maybe he will comment with first hand knowledge. I think either will be fine and I think that style is a good choice if you trying to not leave holes. Another option could be Velcro, a small cb does not weight much and could stay as secure as it needs with a good amount of hook and loop on the dash. Good luck
Thank you for the info. I went and got the Midland one. I like the fact i dont need to hook ti up to a power source (gets power from the lighter) and can use it as a hand held or in vehicle with teh Antenna.
