Like Tom said. Put the 35's on and dont look back. I ran the 35's with my stock Rubicon gearing for four years and never had an issue. Daily driving, wheeling, towing jet ski's and quads. Always had enough power to get the job done and enough tire for the wheeling fun!

Most everything i find in researching says I would need a 4.5 inch Backspacing. Im only at 5 and dont see myself buying new wheels anytime soon unless someone here has a good deal on some used ones.
I would then sell the current wheels I have.
or close to it - 35" tires: rubbing that can be cured with trimming pinch-seam
Common statement with stock wheels and a 1.5 inch spacer.
So I dropped 1.25 inches in BS and I would likely rub a bit. I hear a lot of issues come from spacers so not sure i want to go that route - but if i did I would likely only need a 1/2 inch spacer.

Most of the time when you run an 1/2" spacer you need to install longer wheel studs. Unless your wheel studs happen to be long enough. You won't know until you check. The 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" spacers use your factory wheel stud then supply another set of studs to attach you wheel to. Sorry if you already knew all this. but something to consider. Plus A properly torqued wheel spacer will be just fine. A lot of people run them and have no problems as long as you follow the directions.

i run a 2" spacer on my scout and never had a problem with them for the last year and I ran 1.5" on my toy truck and now on my lady's 4runner and never had a problem with them. but they are like a new wheel when installed and will need to be checked after about 50 miles or so.

Newb question on Spacers then they appear to come in pairs - I would assume you would need to install them on the frotn and back - otherwise you would be offset correct? So you would need 4 total or 2 kits.

Yep - 2 sets of 2 for a total of 4 spacers. We run them on the CJ and have never had an issue. Like Petee said - be sure to check them like you would new wheels and follow the directions for use and you will be fine... CC
