Easter Jeep Safari consists of trail rides, mostly day long trips, departing from Moab Utah throughout the 9 day long event. Full information about the Safari is available in a colorful newspaper. The official event is hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers Inc. one of the the local four wheel drive clubs of Moab.
Participants provide their own four wheel drive vehicle, take care of their own food and non-alcoholic beverages for the trip. Suggested essentials, beyond plenty of water, include sun protection, and layered clothing in case of changing weather circumstances that are always a possibility during the spring in southeastern Utah.
* While this event is not an official Piston's Wild club event for 2014 - we do have a few members who attend this event every year.
* Piston's Wild Motorsports plans to attend the 50th Anniversary Easter Jeep Safari in 2016 as a club and all members and applicants are welcome to join us for the adventure.
My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body... But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... WOW! What a Wild Ride!
ExCabSwap: The wind there looks horrible... Still worth it haha

poorboy: Can somebody give me the official rules for the Cowbell please?

Wyldman: The Cowbell... If you are a club member and you're on one of our wheelin' trips. If you get stuck on an obstacle and have to be pulled out by your winch or someone elses winch/strap. You earn the Cowbell.

poorboy: Wyldman, I got to see the passing of the bell at the meeting and learned quite a bit about the tradition.
