I have been hoping to find a local club to get involved with. I would especially like to help with the Yacolt Burn Trail building project. We need to have LEGAL trails out in our forests. I refuse to participate in illegal wheeling, and do my best to influence others from doing the same.
Yesterday, I was out at TSF on Flat Broke's annual Poker Run and saw a few of your club members and there families having a great time. I also ran "University Fire Power" trail sponsored by Pistons Wild. (and maintained by? Don't know how the trail sponsoring works.)
I ran into Wade , who I had known at church years before. (Thanks for stopping to say "Hi," and for letting me air up my tires!) He explained how your club is family oriented, and not the stereotypical "lets get drunk while driving and break and thrash stuff" wheelers that give our sport a bad name. Apparently my fears had been unfounded.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you folks and help where I can.
Bill

Hi Bill. Sounds like you wheel. I also wheel. This club also likes to wheel. This could be a good place for you. You should join us on our next meeting.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I don't get to wheel near as much as I would like to. Something I'd like to fix! Looking forward to meeting the group...
