Hello,
Here is the link to the live feed for our race next week.
ultra4racing.com/live/
Our race day is Thursday, February 4th and the race starts at 8:00am.
We are starting in Row #13 and the race is 116 miles long.
The races starts at 8:00am and closes at 6:00pm (10 hours) – so if we have not finished by then we will receive a DNF (did not finish).
Our race is called the Smittybuilt Everyman Challenge and we are in the 4500 class which starts first that day.
Our comp number (which is on the vehicle and will be on the tracking site) is #4542
Darel Crowder is the Driver of Record – Crystal Crowder is the Co-Driver of Record
There is also vehicle tracking available for the day to see how we are progressing through the race. It generally updates every 2 minutes.
That can be found at this link – go to the “King of the Hammers 2016” link on this page and you should be able to see the tracking.

You might want to check out these links on either Monday or Tuesday for some of the other races to get familiar with how the live feed works.
The live feed is generally active every day at least during daylight hours – on Monday night there is a cool event called the “Chocolate Thunder” Shootout – might be fun to watch (we are NOT competing in this event).
Please remember that only about 10% of the approximately 50 vehicles usually ever finish the event that we are competing in on Thursday.
So, please don’t worry if we don’t finish or we stop moving – we have a talented driver, a great truck, the best safety equipment money can buy and a stellar pit crew – we will be fine…
We will be competing in an event called the "Everyman Challenge" - which is a class of this sport created for the regular guy. Our class is a field of comparable vehicles with some basic limits and restrictions designed to keep the race competitive, the budget under control (LOL) and an opportunity for the everyday "Joe" to actively participate. We don't have employees to build our truck (but we have some pretty amazing friends who have given deeply to help make this happen). We don't have any big dollar sponsors (but we have received some generous discounts and favors from quite a few major players in the industry). We don't have a vehicle lift or a fancy hi-tech heated shop, but we do have a wood stove and some pretty tall jack stands. Our truck was built through the perservance and determination of a small but outstanding group of friends and family and we hope you all know how much we appreciate your support. We acknowledge the sacrifices you have made for us and we are forever grateful for your contributrions that allow us to enjoy this sport we so dearly love...
