May - June 2017 Equipment Schedule.pdf (267.89 KB) *updated 6/8/17
ELIGIBILITY: Please feel free to volunteer if you have previously operated the equipment indicated in the chart with our crew over the past 3 years.
Please just send me a PM or TEXT (360) 606-1648 with the dates you are available.
It is always nice to have an "alternate" operator for each day to maximize the use of our funding by keeping the rental equipment moving constantly.
Alternates also provide an opportunity to "SPLIT" days - as we tend to work 10-12 hours days on a regular basis
What do volunteers need to bring?
Gloves, work boots, long pants, long sleeves – dress in layers appropriate for weather.
Current weather forecast is predicting cool and party sunny - perfect working conditions...
Please bring your own food and water (lots of water) for the day.
YOU DO NOT NEED A DISCOVER PASS TO VOLUNTEER TO WORK ON TRAILS!

SUPPORTING FUNDS FOR WORK PARTY MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES ARE BEING PROVIDED BY RCO DEVELOPMENT GRANT #14-1809D
Yacolt Burn Recreation Plan Off-road Vehicle Trail Development
This 2-year grant was awarded in 2015 to the Pacific Cascade Region of the Washington Department of Natural Resources in the amount of $373,800 + DNR Matching Funds of $93,700.
This brings the total of this maintenance grant to $467,500 to develop 6 new miles of motorized trails in the Yacolt Burn State Forest (including 4x4, ATV & Dirtbike trails).
RCO grants are funded by your OHV fuel tax dollars and OHV permit dollars - hours worked by volunteers contribute to DNR's eligibility to continue to receive these grants in the future.
Specific details about the grant can be viewed here: secure.rco.wa.gov/prism/search/ProjectSnapshot.aspx?ProjectNumber=14-1809
