We had to venture out in the wonderful snow. Had to take the jeep for a walk. It hasnt been out of the yard in a few days so we had to go stretch our legs. We had to have a little fun here and there. All is good when the ground is white and the roads are packed with snow. Only thing that I hate is others who cannot drive or are so scared they cause bad things to happen. Hope everyone had a good safe time in the snow.

Yeah I wished it would have waited till the weekend. I droped my big truck off in Salem and started towards home in the Burb. at 2:30pm and did not get home till 7:45pm thanks to all the morons that do not know how to drive in this beautiful white stuff that most of us really look forward to driving in. So far now sence I have to turn around and drive back down there at 1:30am I hope not to see anymore of this this year. Lol. Except for in the woods. just my two cents on the white stuff today goodnight all.

Well, scrambledbill just dropped me off and its still trying to slush, and still 33 according to the Grand Cherokee. Highways seemed ok, side streets (in my neighborhood) are a bit slick... Be safe out there!

I got off work yesterday at 8ish at night and not much past 830 I got a call.......yep that call. HELP is what they were telling me. A friend of mine had just gotten out of surgery and was home all drugged up on pain pills, when his wife called and said the car died on here on Highway 26 near the 217 exit headed east. I was told by him that if the car sits in traffic to long the battery will die with all the accessories on. SO I grabbed all my stuff aired the Jeep down to 20psi and with the help of some company (Ryan W. and my wife) we headed in that direction. 405 was closed, and so was 26...can it get much worse...oh yeah. We went up what I think was Burnside hill out of Portland.....son of a (finish the sentence). I was not a happy camper. I must have had 5 cars spin out in front of me which I had to pass, then I had to dodge all the idiots that got stuck in the middle of the road. Must have been literally hundreds of rigs littering the road, from buses to armored cars to 4x4's to yuppie mobiles. I could have made a fortune pulling these guys out. To not rant on, I will finish with this. We reached the car at 12:30 at night and 80% of the time was spent on Burnside Hill.......screw that. Never doing that again. I got home at 2:00am after following her home, well almost home. Her car got stuck so we piled into the XJ and I aired down to about 10psi and went up a steep hill to there house. OH and the help was just a jump start.....who knows how many people passed his wife and 2 little kids stranded in the car. I was glad to help though and it was a good learning experience for me and my buddies wife.
End of Rant ;D

ya kodos to you. I've done that hill several times (since I used to live in Cedar Mill) and still find that Cornell rd is better and less traveled; but you still have the idiots that you have to help or get out of their way. I have no problem with 10psi to make that trip in the jeep.
I was waiting for the wife to get out of surgery when it started. all ok no big deal just a gall bladder removal. I got her home safe from kaiser on Sunnyside in the 300M. A normal 30 min drive took 1.5hours. Got her settled and let the jeep out to play. We had fun drifting in 2LO around the neighbor hood for a couple hours and good thing because it was all gone in the morning.
