This is a cross post from Cascadecruisers.com ( forum).
Leave about 8pm . Return ? When will we get back? Sometime after midnight!! All travel will be on legal roadways. Rigs should be well set up; 35" tires (minimum),lockers,strap/hooks,lockers, normal survival gear/ clothing,spares/tools, shovel,food/drink. Must be able & willing to lower tire pressures down to about 5PSIG.
I'm estimating 1 to 2 new feet of Snow at elevations of planned roads. DON'T miss this run as it may be the last snow run this season, due to real warm weather we are getting! Email me for meeting/ departure point ( yet to be determined) but somewhere in Clark County. Toyrocs

Torx thanks for the PM! I will be checking the NWS "SNOTEL" remote weather reporting stations for real time snow depth data/ temperatures.
As of now I have 2 probable rigs going, not including myself. Thanks

We have about 5 rigs going as of now. The snow has not been as heavy as forecast earlier in the week, but we should still be able to find some new stuff. The snow level has also been higher than thought.
See full run updates & info on cascadecruisers.com forum.
Thanks. Toyrocs

It was a fun time last night. Small group of four of us, and lots of fresh powder. I think at one point we were doing about 20mph through 2ft of powder.
I was the first one to be "detained" and was glad to have winch for a quick recovery. On our way out we ran into two stock Nissan pickups in bad shape. Toyrocs yarded them back into the main tracks, and after maybe 30 minutes or so we were rallying back to civilization.
I took maybe three pictures total so I'll have to see how they turned out.
Good times!

[It was a fun time last night. Small group of four of us, and lots of fresh powder. Had to stop a couple of times because my headlights failed. Packed with powder! . OBTW Some of the snow speeds were in the extreme fun range & not at 20mph. ;D ;D ;D High power+ deep powder + speed = fun fun fun. Toyrocs

"detained"? "detain"? its a toyota thing and difficult to understand. toyotas dont ever get stuck, they are merely detained. true story, ask around.

Sounds Like you guys had a good time! I wish I would have went. "detained"? Where are some pics? must have found some snow to "detain" TORX where? My only stuck of the night came while going around a log. I got the front end around it, but the back tires didn't want to follow, and got off the road. I aired down some more, but just kept crab walking along the road. I asked Chuck to come give me a tug, but then while backing up to my position he also went off the road as well. At that point we both just winched back onto the road. As for pics, between near dead camera batteries, and the fact that it was dark, I didn't get too many pictures. Infact here's the three I did take. Toyrocs and Chuck (in a precarious position ). Sean crawling his way through a small dip in the road. Myself, Sean, and Chuck stopped to adjust pressures. I was glad I could get one last good snow run in for the year. Like I said before the powder was incredible. I should have said I was doing 20 at some points, but toyrocs was losing me breaking trail so I can't imagine how much he was pushing. ;D
