I realize this date will conflict with the Pistons Wild monthly run. Please feel no obligation in attending this clean-up if you're planning on going to Sand Lake with Dave (aka Hootie). I hope you guys have a great time!
With that said; I would like to lead a team of volunteers to represent Pistons Wild at this clean-up. If you feel so inclined to help with this event. I would encourage you to let me know. I personally feel that my attendance is necessary because I use this area a lot for my recreation.
Details of the day. I believe check in with ODF starts at 8:00 am at Rogers Camp. I want to get our assignments and get an early start.(If the time is different I'll let you know) So, meet at 8:00 am and let the day take its course. There should be time for play after the work. So be prepared for that as well. Remember... "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!"
I'm sure there will be more details to come.

I'll see you there, Douglas.
Are you sure about the meeting time? I emailed Jahmaal awhile back, and the last I heard the plan was to meet at 9:00am at Rogers. It may have changed though.
I was told there is some winch work scheduled for the Powerline trail with Flat Broke & 4 Wheelin. Other trails will probably need assessed for any future repairs/block offs.
There will be a few of us from NAXJA heading up to check up on Saddle Up, and create a game plan for the year.

Great job people, Renee & me stayed busy doing Trail Patrol and maintaining the 7-UP Trail sponsored by poorboyoffroad.com. We had to cut a downed tree across the road between Airplane Hill Trail and 7-UP Trail triple diamond trail head. Also found out that someone had removed the signs at the top of 7-UP Trail. We should have new signs up next week as long as the snow doesn't get much deeper. Was about 5-6" at the top of 7-UP Trail Saturday 03/27/10.

It was good to see a bunch of familiar faces out there on Saturday. Lots of winching, rigging cable, and dragging logs! There was a really good turnout this time, and as a result we got a lot of work done on the Powerline trail.
