I don't know if this is the right place to post this up or not, but I was thinking that maybe the powers that be could count this run as an Official run since it is a learning run AND it is going to raise money for the Yacolt Burn Trails. Either way, here are the details:
(This run will have a fairly limited number of spots available so please let me know asap if you're interested and which of the days you'd like to attend and I'll let you know right away if there's room. Thanks!)
Hannah Jeep and Chris Wood from AEV are proud to announce
the dates for our 2010 Offroad Training Course!
This is your opportunity to take your Jeep out into the Tillamook State Forest for a day-long excursion to learn about everything from off-road driving skills to recovery techniques to proper planning to responsible land stewardship, and more!
Courses such as this with professional trainers can run as high as $400 to $500, but Hannah Jeep and AEV will only be asking that attendees make a $99 minimum donation per vehicle towards the Yacolt Burn Trail project here in SW Washington. Donations will be accepted by Hannah Jeep prior to, or at the time of, the event. If you would like more information on this terrific project, feel free to email us and we’ll get you the scoop.
The dates will be Wednesday, April 28th and Thursday, April 29th 2010. The exact details including information on departure times, return times, camping information for those of you who would like to stay overnight and any updates will be emailed out over the course of the next few weeks.
Special guests for the event will be
Chris Wood - One of the nation’s top offroad gurus! Chris will be the instructor and the leader of the group. Whatever your level of experience, beginner to advanced, you’ll learn a ton from Chris.
Jessica Kimmick - Recreation Manager for the Pacific Cascade Region of Washington’s Department of Natural Resources. Jessica is an integral part of the Yacolt Burn Trail project and will be happy to answer any questions regarding the project!
We are expecting the spots to fill quickly so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to attend and which day you prefer. If you have additional vehicles in your party, please mention that as well so we can pair you up with them whenever possible.
As an added bonus, all attendees will be able to purchase AEV products and ARB Recovery Gear at special price points between now and the time of the event.
Please contact me at Hannah Jeep with any and all questions about this event or to reserve a spot.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on the trail!
Sincerely,
Brian M Sanders
