I can always run any type of equipment if needed. It's just one of those things in my past life I have done.

I have talked to the Vancouver Sunbelt. They have saved the same forklift as the one that we had last year I think it is the 520. It weigh's 12k lbs. It will be ready to be picked up on Fri the 25th and can be droped off Sat the 26th in the afternoon or monday the 28th. I just want to thank Sunbelt for there donation to our Pick up the Burn day. Please dont forget to go to sunbelt if anyone needs to rent equipment or needs anything from any of our sponsors because they suport us so we need to suport them. Can't wait to get started I am very excited.

I'm unable to attend this event due to prior commitments but I wanted to let you guy's know that some one dumped a bunch of stuff off on FR1000/Livingston Rd., its probably 3/4 of a mile down from four corners on the right/North side of the road. Its pretty recent I've been up and down that road twice in the last week and I just saw it for the first time this morning.

Iceman makes a very good point. Shop at our sponsors so they know we support them too, even more so now.
GOSH I hope people aren't dropping trash willy nilly knowing were going to be up there.

GOSH I hope people aren't dropping trash willy nilly knowing were going to be up there. I doubt it, but then again nothing really surprises me, especially if you drive around up there at night flipflop

Check out the new DNR website - Piston's Wild Motorsports gets a shout-out and a picture on the front page of the site for the Pick Up the Burn event... www.dnr.wa.gov/Pages/default.aspx15 minutes of fame for Hootie and Randy Timmerman from last years "very successful" event. Special thanks to all of you who cross-posted this years' thread over to other off-road forums - the chatter about this event is absolutely incredible and we are expecting a massive turnout of volunteers for the clean-up. Great Job! Just to confirm - we have the logistics locked down for an off-road forklift from Sunbelt Rentals in Vancouver (Darel will pick that up on Friday and return it on Monday). Also, the local Les Schwab Tire Centers will be working together to take all of the tires from the forest into their facilities for recycling (we will need to coordinate delivery of tires to the various locations in SW Washington). I am looking for at least 3 volunteers to provide trucks (and/or trailers) to handle these tasks - deliveries can be made either end of day Saturday, Sunday or anytime on Monday. Please post here or PM me if you can help with this - or I can be reached at (360) 606-1648. Thanks in advance, Crystal

I plan to drive my fullsize pickup up and don't mind hauling tires out. I also have a car trailer that I can hook on if you need. Just let me know.

I notified the main "PR" guy with CMA Off Road in our area about the project again. Also if we see some guys on Harley's roll in they are part of CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) the main group where CMA Off Road branched off from.
I may also need a seat warmer if anyone wants to carpool. I live North of Battle Ground, and I bite ;D

OK, Crystal, I sent out a bakers dozen e-mails to people I have spoken with at work in the media. Someone will come through. We may need to help put something together for the papers, but that's pretty simple.
